Everyone has a right to enjoy a healthy sexual and relational life and to experience their own sexuality in a positive, safe way, free of coercion, discrimination, stigma and violence. Inclusive SRHR, respecting SOGIESC, sometimes in highly politicized societies and contexts is important. In more tolerant societies, subtle prejudice and the impact of heteronormativity on people’s SRHR in their lives has to be addressed. By implementing these strategies we aim to create enabling environments and access to SRHR information and services for all people.

The knowledge file on Sexual and Gender Diversity in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights presents the actual state of affairs on this theme. It includes the actual knowledge, the Rutgers vision statement and the important stakeholders and events.
