Episode 1: Co-creation: What, why and how?

In this episode, facilitators from both organisations as well as community facilitators of key populations on the project talk about their use of a co-creative approach. Welcome to the first of two episodes based on a collaborative project with right-based actors in Uganda. The project involved a partnership between The Open University in the UK and Afya Na Ahaki, a Uganda-based organisation that focuses on building knowledge and advocacy capacity in health, human rights and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). In this episode, facilitators from both organisations as well as community facilitators of key populations on the project talk about their use of a co-creative approach. You will be hearing from Richard Lusimbo, Dorothy Amuron, Sylvia Nakasi, Joselyn Nakyeyune, Helen Amutuhaire, Christopher Baguma, Elizabeth Ascroft, Jennifer Agbaire and Peter Keogh. The two episodes in these series were hosted by Peter Keogh, and produced by Motunrayo Oladeji and Jennifer Agbaire.

Episode 2: Rights Based Approaches to Sexual Reproductive Health: The Intersectionality Lens.

What is the meaning of intersectionality? How might it look like with regards to working with key populations? Why should we consider this when using rights-based approaches to sexual and reproductive health? In this episode of Co-creating Across Borders, the conversation is charged with interesting insights into these important questions. The episode carries on from conversation in a previous episode on co-creation. It is based on the experiences of
participating collaborators on a project in Uganda. The project aimed to further develop understanding of human right approaches to health in global development settings.
