Share-Net’s Jordan established two new Communities of Practise (CoP’s) in December 2022, strengthening their participatory focus; involving everyone is key. The first new CoP’s focus on young people, and the second CoP has been initiated with the Faculty of Nursing at The Hashemite University. Given that young people are among the most important audience for sexual and reproductive health issues and information.

In mid-December 2022, the CoP of the Faculty of Nursing at Hashemite University was formed. Share-Net Jordan held a meeting with a selected group of students of the Faculty of Nursing to form a Practitioners Committee on Sexual and Reproductive Health issues, where the CoP was presented as a concept, and suggestions of themes were discussed.

In late December, the first meeting to form a committee of Youth practitioners in cooperation with Our Youth for Health Network – the Royal Society for health awareness was held via Zoom, where the committee was formed to discuss issues of sexual and reproductive health and reproductive rights. During the meeting, Share-Net Jordan was introduced and clarified its vision, tasks, and goals. It was also clarified that the theme of the CoP will be focusing on the issue of sexual and reproductive health and reproductive rights.
