Share-Net Netherlands

Share-Net International is looking for a collective of young students, artists or researchers who would be interested in developing a creative knowledge product highlighting the main outputs from our 10-year anniversary of the conference on “Linking Research, Policy and Practice” which will take place on the 18th of November 2021, with eight (8) presentation sessions running throughout the day between 9.00 and 16.15 GMT+1.

The event spotlights the research findings from young researchers who present their work on a variety of topics related to sexual and reproductive health and right as well as gender equality and women’s empowerment: such as maternal and menstrual health, (in)fertility, SRHR information and comprehensive sexuality education, SRHR of refugee populations, sex work, gender identity and lesbian relationships, paternity leave, intimate partner violence, and many more. The aim of the follow up knowledge product is to translate the main research findings into a creative format that can be publicly shared via Share-Net International communication channels (always crediting the details of the creatives).

The successful applicant(s) will need to attend all thematic session and create a product based on the outputs (this could be a magazine, visualisation, video, podcast etc.). There is a lump sum of 2.000EUR available. Important deadlines include: draft knowledge product shared with Share-Net International on the 9th of December, feedback by 16th of December, integration of feedback and final submission to Share-Net International by 31st of December 2021.

You can apply by filling out this registration form and uploading a short proposal.

We ask all applicants to please include a rough timeline and budget outline in their proposal. We aim to offer the final product in English, French and Spanish. Please elaborate shortly how you could ensure translation/accessibility in all languages (note that SNI can connect you with translators) and consider translation costs in your proposal.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact Gaia Zanaboni at g.zanaboni@kit.nl.

Deadline to apply: 29th of October 2021.
