Advocacy on the Digital Youth platform (Darby) on Reproductive Sexual Health Issues.
The Higher Population Council, host of Share-Net Jordan, recently launched the Reproductive Health knowledge platform for youth “Darby” during the ceremony with the participation of the relevant National authorities in Jordan. The platform, established by the Higher Population Council with the support of the United Nations Population Fund, aims to raise awareness among community members, especially male and female youth, to improve their Reproductive Health by providing an integrated package of information and data to enable them to make sound decisions regarding their own Reproductive Health.
The platform is a major new resource that provides data and information on reproductive health, in an attractive and creative manner that suits male and female Youth, as well as all segments of society. The platform also allows visitors to ask any and questions related to (their) Reproductive Health, which will be answered by a committee of experts specialists specialists, with the answer is sent back to the person inquiring, taking into account the confidentially of everyone.
Share-Net Jordan supported the Advocacy on the Digital Youth platform (Darby) through the introductory meetings for students of universities (Yarmouk, Hashemite, Al AlBayt, University of Jordan, Al-Zaitouneh) and Princess Mona College of Nursing, on the creation of the knowledge platform for Reproductive Health for young people. During the meetings, presentations were made about the platform and its components, and a competition was held for students on the Sexual reproductive Health contents of the platform and population and development issues.
