For the first time in eight years, more than 1,000 stakeholders from around the world will come together to accelerate solutions to improve maternal and newborn survival and prevent stillbirths in a coordinated and inclusive manner.

The first biannual International Maternal Newborn Health Conference (IMNHC), will be held in Cape Town, South Africa May 8-11, 2023 and every two years afterwards to maintain our global progress towards improving maternal and newborn health.

Abstract submissions and country delegation applications are now open via this online portal!

Abstracts and pre-formed panels must be submitted by September 1, 2022, 11:59 PM CAT. Country delegations’ expression of interest applications must be submitted by September 15, 2022, 11:59 PM CAT. This portal will also be where you may register for the conference, submit non-abstract session applications, apply for a scholarship and more as those key dates approach.
