This summer, the 4th edition of the Reproductive and Maternal Health: A Global Perspective Summer School will take place from the 13th to 17th of July, in Utrecht, the Netherlands. This course is organised by Julius Global Health and Division Woman & Baby at the UMC Utrecht and Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital and the Working Party for Safe Motherhood and International Reproductive Health (www.safemotherhood.nl).
This course is designed for healthcare providers (in training), researchers, Masters or PhD students (in any relevant field) and other professionals with an interest in global (maternal) health. During the one week period, participants will be engaging in theoretical as well as practical sessions with a diverse group of speakers who will share their experiences as experts in the field. Topics of focus this year include human rights & reproductive and maternal care, ante- intra and post-partum care in low-resources settings and global (maternal health) research.
