SURe provides grants for projects that focus on knowledge brokering approaches applied in research programmes under the Knowledge Platforms, that are installed by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Postdoctoral researchers are invited to contribute to strengthening the body of scientific knowledge on what works or could work in brokering knowledge to enhance the outcome and impact of research for inclusive global development. The call aims to strengthen the evidence base of these knowledge-brokering activities and approaches through:

  • providing new insights, based on scientific research, regarding knowledge-brokering approaches/activities in order to enhance the outcome (and impact) of research and;
  • translating these new insights into refining or redefining the knowledge-brokering approaches of the partners involved.

A total budget of 700,00 euros is available. The maximum budget for each project is 200,000 euros for a duration of 1 to 3 years. Proposals can be submitted to NWO-WOTRO until the deadline of 31 January 2017.

Please consult the call for proposals and use the forms that are published on the SURe webpage.
