Dynamic partnership between government & NGOs launch new TV series focused on menstrual health & hygiene in Bangladesh

Together with RedOrange (a Bangladeshi  media and communication agency), knowledge institute TNO and with support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (EKN), Simavi has launched a 13-episode TV program to promote menstrual health & hygiene in Bangladesh. The series, ‘Meyeder Sera School’, (which translates to ‘The best school for girls’), is part of a larger campaign called ‘Ritu’ (a girl’s name meaning ‘season’, as well as the word for menstrual cycle in Bangladeshi) aimed at improving the health, well being, and social and economic participation of women and girls in Bangladesh.
