Knowledge Platform on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights

Taleka firmly believes in providing equal opportunities to women even in a patriarchal society. She works with communities to ensure that they create an enabling environment for women to freely access Sexual and Reproductive Health services like family planning methods, STI screening, HTC and abortion. As such, she has led in the production of several publications; newsletters, booklets, posters, jingles and documentaries advocating for the Sexual and Reproductive Rights of youth, especially girls in Malawi.
She was chosen as Malawi’s youth representative at the 2016 International Conference on Family Planning in Bali, Indonesia where she moderated a session on modern technologies on family planning.
