KIT Royal Tropical Institute is accepting applications for two summer courses:
– Monitoring and Evaluation from August 20-31 (click here for more information)
– Mapping for health from June 25-July 6 (click here for more information)
These advanced courses equip practitioners with up to date knowledge and tools for M&E and the analysis of routine program data using GIS, respectively. These courses will allow participants to gain a deeper understanding of the role of M&E and GIS in various aspects of the health system including the institutional, political, financial, managerial, human resource, inter-sectoral and public health dimensions. Teaching methods include introductory lectures, exercises, case studies, interactive group discussions, debates and role plays, building on participants’ experiences with the respective topics and issues. Facilitators are experts in the fields of M&E, health systems strengthening, epidemiology and GIS.
For the M&E course, funding from the Orange Knowledge Programme OKP (former NFP) are available for these courses (click here for the full list of supported countries). For any queries please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
The deadline for applications for the M&E course is 1 July 2018 (for OKP applicants 26 February 2018) and for the GIS course is April 25 2018. Both courses have Early Bird fee opportunities for early registration, so it pays off not to wait until the last minute!
Please feel free to disseminate to any of your colleagues or anyone in your network who may be interested in these courses.
KIT is looking forward to meeting you all in Amsterdam!
