Join us in the Share-Net International Youth Campaign!

In the run-up of the Share-Net International (SNI) Co-Creation Conference (CCC) on SRHR for Youth and Adolescents, taking place at the end of January/beginning of February 2021, SNI aims to launch a youth-centred social media campaign. The youth campaign will put adolescents and youth at the centre by highlighting their SRHR experiences and stories. These include experiences with SRHR related to family/community/country and culture, stories that show when you felt empowered to stand up for your SRHR, stories that highlight when your SRHR were not met, etc. The objectives of the campaign are to:

  • Highlight the experiences of adolescents and youth in regards to their SRHR
  • Promote the CCC and create public awareness of adolescent and youth SRHR
  • Put adolescents and youth at the centre of the conference

Youth Campaign

For this, we will showcase these experiences on our Instagram page that showcases these experiences in the form of photo(s) between January 4th and February 5th with a possible extension based on the success of the campaign. Additionally, the featured content will be shown in a photo gallery on the conference platform.

We would like to invite you, your friends, colleagues and wider networks to share perspectives on adolescent SRHR and to be showcased during our campaign. We estimate that providing us with your contributions should not take more than 20 minutes. We believe that your inputs are valuable in portraying diverse stories on how adolescents and youth – as individuals, families or communities – experience their SRHR.
