Are you a STUDENT in the Netherlands? Are you interested in HIV/AIDS, TB and Hepatitis in Eastern Europe and Central Asia?
On the 28th of March, AFEW International and WEB.foundation are organising the second ‘Culture Cures & Kills’ symposium in the Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam. The symposium is for students who are interested in social and health issues related to HIV/AIDS, TB and Hepatitis in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
The program is designed with and by students from different fields of study. The aim of the conference is not only to increase students’ awareness about the successes and challenges to address the HIV epidemic in EECA but also to link students to the International AIDS Conference of 2018 and explore opportunities for future research. On the day itself, speakers from the UN, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, several NGOs and research institutions will be given lectures, workshops and the programme also includes a lunch. Hence, this symposium provides a perfect opportunity for students to meet professionals and broaden their knowledge on the topic.
