Menstrual Health

Share-Net International and PSI-Europe would like to invite you to the Making the Case for Menstrual Health: Why Periods Matter for Sexual and Reproductive Health” breakfast meeting on Tuesday 27th of November 2018 from 10am to 12pm.

Can changes in menstrual patterns discourage contraceptive uptake? What is the relation between menstrual related disorders and infertility? How does HIV affect menstruation?

This meeting is the perfect chance to answer these and more questions: participants will have the opportunity to discuss with practitioners, entrepreneurs and policy-makers to understand the intersection between menstrual health and reproductive health.

Our tentative list of speakers:

  • Maria Carmen Punzi, Menstrual Health Focal Point, PSI-Europe
  • Hilda Alberda, Director PML, Simavi
  • Dorine Thomissen, Senior Program Officer SRHR, Simavi
  • Mariah Mansvelt Beck, Co-Founder, YONI
  • Melodi Tamarzians, Youth Ambassador SRHR, Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs
