WHO EMRO and Department of Reproductive Health and Research (RHR) would like to invite you to an upcoming webinar on the WHO Consolidated guideline on sexual and reproductive health and rights of women living with HIV.
Women living with HIV face unique challenges and human rights violations related to their sexuality and reproduction within their families and communities, as well as from the health-care institutions where they seek care. In response to requests for guidance specific to the sexual and reproductive health and rights of women living with HIV, this guideline has been developed with meaningful community engagement, a broad consultative process and review of current evidence and existing guidelines. It also includes new recommendations and good practice statements placing particular emphasis on the creation of an enabling environment to support more effective health interventions and better health outcomes.
Following the global launch of the Guideline, WHO is undertaking several steps to disseminate the guideline – in particular with WHO Regional and Country Offices, Ministries of Health, programme managers, health care providers, professional associations, community of women living with HIV, and implementers.
You are warmly invited to join this webinar on sexual and reproductive health and rights of women living with HIV on: May 2nd, 2018 from 12:00-13:00 (Cairo/Geneva), 13:00-14:00 (Beirut), 13:30-14:30 (Kabul)
