Since 2016, the European Development Days have been organised annually by the European Commission to bring the development community together and provide a platform to share ideas and experiences in ways that inspire new partnerships and innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges.

Under the main thread of “Women and Girls at the Forefront of Sustainable Development: protect, empower, invest”, the EDD 2018 agenda will be framed by three major themes:

2 March – Deadline for Young Leaders submissions
End of March – beginning of April – Announcement of session and stand selection results
23-27 April – Second Preparatory Meeting
Mid-April – Announcement of selected Young Leaders for Auditorium Debates
