Advanced Courses on SRHR at KIT Royal Tropical Institute

KIT Royal Tropical Institute is happy to inform you of a number of upcoming courses on wide range of topics. The short courses can be taken as a stand-alone course or as part of one of our Master’s programmes.


Courses on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, and HIV and AIDS

Sexual and Reproductive health and Rights including HIV and AIDS
Course dates: 09 March –  27 March 2020
This course explores key principles of SRHR practice across a range of content areas. It also explores key considerations for SRHR and HIV policy and practices.

NEW: Sante et Droits sexuels et reproductifs
Course in French/cours en francais.
Course dates: 09 – 20 March 2020

Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights: Organising Effective Responses
Course dates:  14 April – 06 May 2020
This course builds on current evidence to critically identify and analyse responses across the health system, including emergency and fragile state settings. It also focuses on making services equitable accessible to marginalised groups and key populations.

Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights: Policy, Governance and Financing 
Course dates: 18 May – 05 June 2020
In this course participants become acquainted with the policy instruments, governance mechanisms and financial structures related to SRHR.




In addition to the short courses above, KIT Royal Tropical Institute offers the following Masters programme which could be of interest to you:

Master of Public Health / International Course in Health Development
Course dates: 14 September 2020 – 3 September 2021
This annual 12-month programme is organised by KIT Royal Tropical Institute and the VU Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.  Participants can choose from the following study tracks:
MPH – Track in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights
MPH – Track in Health Systems Policy and Management

We are happy to inform you that there are scholarships available from the Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) for applicants from 53 eligible countries to study the above Masters programme or a few other advanced courses at KIT in summer 2020.
If you are you a health professional from one of the 53 eligible OKP countries we strongly encourage you to explore this interesting scholarship opportunity.
