It is our pleasure to invite you to the launch of the Contraception Atlas White Paper which is an advocacy document targeting policy makers from geographical Europe, EU and national levels, as well as other stakeholders (e.g. NGOs, industry, academia) with vested interest in the topic, and in changing the status quo. It was developed as a follow-up to the Contraception Atlas launch events which took place in the European Parliament in February 2017 and April 2018.
The Contraception Atlas is an online interactive map that scores 46 countries across geographical Europe on access to modern contraception (https://www.contraceptioninfo.eu/). More specifically, the Atlas focuses on access to online information about modern contraception, and access to contraceptive supplies and counselling. In order to advocate for these issues stakeholders can proactively use the White Paper and its policy recommendations to inform themselves as well as their communities and constituencies about the situation on access to modern and effective contraception in wider Europe. The document can also be used as a supplement to their own strategies on the topic, together with other key Contraception Atlas tools such as the map itself.
