When and where

5-6 June 2018, Brussels.

Theme and topics

Under the main thread of “Women and Girls at the Forefront of Sustainable Development: protect, empower, invest”, the EDD 2018 agenda will be framed by three major themes:

  1. Ensuring the physical and psychological integrity of Girls and Women
  2. Promoting economic and social rights and empowerment of Girls and Women
  3. Strengthening Girls’ and Women’s voice and participation.

At the bottom of this message you can see a table with the topics for the respective themes (in yellow are marked those the most relevant for us). The EDD 2018 programme will include auditoria and lab debates, brainstorming sessions, project and report presentations and webinars as well as a Global Village to showcase successful practices → to learn more, check the EDD Community Guide.
