Call for Papers: 28th International Population Conference in Cape Town

Deadline to submit: 15 December 2016 

The IUSSP encourages all those of you who plan to submit an abstract for the 28th International Population Conference in Cape Town, South Africa to submit in advance and avoid the rush. There will be no deadline extension.

Before going to the website to submit your abstract, please review the list of sessions in the Call for Papers to identify the theme or session topics that most closely fit your paper topic and have all the required information for your submission prepared in advance:

  • Paper title and 200-word abstract ready to copy-paste;
  • PDF or Word file of your 2-4 page extended abstract to upload;
  • Names, institutional affiliations and email addresses of all co-authors.

The website provides an English and a French interface and you can choose to submit in English or in French. Short abstracts will be translated for session organizers who do not understand the language of submission.  You also have the option to submit your title and short abstract in both English and French.

You will be asked to log in with the email and password you use for the IUSSP website or create a new user account. (You do not need to be a member to submit a paper.)

Once you have begun the submission you can always return later to complete the submission using the links sent to you by email up until the deadline of 15 December.
